Being from California, I never really thought much about outerwear. Weather in the 60s is what I considered freezing…that was until I moved to New York. The fun thing about fall fashion on the other coast is that you can rock hats, scarves and cute jackets before winter comes and you need to break out the more practical (but less fashionable) sleeping bag-esque parka.
This cropped check coat is perfect for transitional temperatures. It has enough heft to keep you cozy in light winds, but is still fun with its checked print. I paired it with a complimentary cashmere hat that will transition well into winter (I have been OBSESSED with this hat/scarf/glove trifecta at Club Monaco). And for the fun of it, a pair of “vegan leather” pants (yes…this is a euphemism for pleather, but they are a much more budget friendly alternative to the leather pair I love).
What is your fall fashion favorite?
