Sometimes you find something so special, you have to plan an entire outfit around it.
For those of you that know me, you know I am an avid online shopper. And thanks to my beloved iPhone, I can shop on the go–on the subway, in line for coffee, on the elliptical (yes…guilty!) With all that browsing, something has to be truly special to catch my eye, and this lace Rebecca Taylor top did just that. The details are impeccable–from the lace sleeves, to the silk trim, to the beautifully draped keyhole back… It was love at first sight.
With such a beautifully detailed top, I decided to keep things simple and (mostly) monochromatic with these figure flattering Club Monaco pants. With a pop of color by way of my hot pink heels and a hint of sparkle with a sophisticated cuff, this look was complete.
An all black look doesn’t have to be boring; it gives you room to play with your shoes and accessories. And for a bit of extra drama, a swipe of red lipstick does the trick.
