Christina’s Favorites | November

I love discovering new things whether it’s a new restaurant, travel destination, beauty product, clothing item, or app.  I thought I’d share five of my favorites from the past month.  I hope it will inspire you to try something new or perhaps think of a gift idea for someone special.

Scroll through for my picks!

Bluewick Ginger Jasmine Candle / Huntley Hotel ScentBluewick Ginger Jasmine Candle – I discovered this candle years ago while on a girls trip to LA.  We stayed at the Huntley Hotel in Santa Monica, and this is the candle they always have burning in the lobby.  I instantly fell in love and have been buying it on repeat ever since.  Everyone always asks me what it is when it’s burning in my apartment.  I just snagged several for gifts during their holiday sale.

Urban Decay Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer

Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer – Over the last couple of years, I have noticed the dreaded under-eye circles and fine lines forming (oh the joys of aging!).  This concealer does a great job of covering them up without feeling like you have caked your face in makeup.  While I think the MAC Pro Longwear does a slightly better job covering, this one lives up to its “weightless” namesake and doesn’t settle in lines throughout the day.  As long as I set the concealer with powder (I love this one), I am good to go.  I have already gone through a few of these since discovering it.

Rag & Bone Skinny Jeans in Coal

Rag & Bone Skinny Jeans in Coal (on sale & as seen on Casually Glam here) – I bought these jeans last year and only wore them a few times, but this year I have been wearing them on repeat.  It’s  hard to get me out of my favorite AG Stevie Jeans, but these will definitely be staying in the rotation.  I wear mine with my trusty Stuart Weitzman 5050 boots (as seen here) or Everlane Modern Loafers (as seen here).  (Tip: size down)

Sabon Shower Oil in Musk

Sabon Shower Oil – Sabon was new to me when I moved to New York.  If you have ever walked by one, you have surely noticed the divine scents emanating from outside their doors.  If you ever go in, say “YES!” when they ask you if you’d like your hands washed.  I know….it sounds weird…but they will cleanse, exfoliate, and hydrate your hands to baby-soft perfection.  With the recent change in weather, I am all for anything that will add moisture back into my skin.  The shower oil does just that. I use it to shave my legs in the morning, and the scent is heavenly.  Musk is my favorite, but you can’t go wrong.

Starbucks Mobile Ordering is Here! (and it's amazing!!)

Starbucks App Mobile Ordering (for iPhone and Android) – O.M.G. you guys…this app has been a lifesaver this month.  I have been working like a madwoman and rarely have time to leave my desk during the day.  I sneak out for five minutes to grab a snack and some coffee, and this app makes it possible.  You can actually order and pay with the app and go straight to the pickup area upon arrival.  The app tells you the closest location and how long until you can get your caffeine fix (usually just 3-5 minutes).  I order mine when I’m waiting for the elevator or getting off the subway, and it’s ready by the time I walk in the door.  I can’t tell you how good it feels to walk past the mile long midday rush line!

Well those are my favorites! I’d love to hear yours – leave me a message in the comment box below.

XOXO

The shower oil looks awesome! I’ve always loved L’Occitane’s version but might have to try Sabon next!
