To kick off the (unofficial) start of summer, I took an eagerly anticipated trip to Grand Cayman for the long weekend. I booked this trip in the dead of winter when it felt like we would never see the sun again (my fellow east-coasters know what I mean). Luckily, Memorial Day finally arrived and so did my beach vacation.
For any beach getaway, I live in three things: a swimsuit, sundress and sandals. When I discovered this Tory Burch number several weeks back, I knew it had to come with me to Grand Cayman. I was immediately drawn to the beautifully intricate embroidery, scalloped details and laid back shape (not to mention my obsession with blue is well documented on this blog). It was the perfect cover-up for walking around the resort with an umbrella drink in hand!
If your future travel plans call for sun & sand, pack your favorite beach read, some sunscreen, and this dress (and did I mention it’s 40% off!?). A piña colada on arrival is also highly recommended.

Looks like a fab vacation! Love the dress on you.
