Sonoma Style

I regularly travel to Detroit for work, and I have been wanting to check out Willy’s Detroit–a stylish store home to some equally stylish American designers.  Low and behold, they carry Emerson Fry; I have been admiring their catalog for years but had never stumbled upon their designs in the wild.  I was thrilled to finally try on some of the items I have been lusting over.

I was immediately drawn to this jacquard dress.  The texture is both beautiful and eye-catching, and it’s a perfect layering dress for fall.  I love the way they styled it to perfection on their site with a chunky cable knit sweater.  It was a balmy 95 degrees in Sonoma last weekend, so I went sans sweater with a pair of open-toe booties.  A beautiful day for a beautiful dress!
