I have been searching for any and every sign of spring and today when it got all the way up to 43 degrees, hope was in the air! Hope that the worst of winter is finally behind us and a new wardrobe season is upon us!
I have been dying to slip into these ankle zip jeans since they arrived. I had this same pair back in the late eighties (except those had a denim bow above each side zip), and they brought back memories of those favorite childhood jeans. Yes…I was addicted to denim back then, too.
I usually steer clear of Banana Republic jeans–they never fit me quite right–but their new premium denim is majorly improved. They have the perfect amount of stretch for a skinny jean.
I love the look of skinnies with heels but will usually opt for flats if I’m doing a lot of walking. Either option looks polished with a simple top and structured blazer. For the office, swap the tank for a silk blouse or button down and trade in distressed denim for a solid dark pair and you’ll be work week chic.
Here’s to many more sunny days to come! XO
