My favorite part about Syracuse, Sicily is the narrow, winding streets. When I was there, I loved to pick one and see where it would take me… each street more charming than the last. Eventually, I would find myself in the stunning Piazza Del Duomo. It’s in the heart of Ortygia–the old town–and the beautiful baroque architecture was like nothing else I saw on the island. The late afternoon brought a soft, dreamy glow that filled the Piazza.
