If you saw 5 Dresses for Spring and Summer, you will know that an LWD has been at the top of my shopping list. While I’m not strict with the “no whites after labor day” rule, I definitely up my all-white game as soon as Memorial Day rolls around. A crisp white outfit just screams summer to me (it also screams “you’re going to spill something” but that’s what Shout Wipes and Tide Pens are for).
Because I wear my whites in warm weather, one of the most important things I look for is a breathable fabric. This dress is a lightweight linen so it’s perfect for hotter temps. Any natural fiber like linen or cotton will serve you well.
While I love to look for special details in any dress I buy, it’s especially true when looking for a little white dress. I love the elegant lace stripes that create panels and add interest to an otherwise simple A-line dress. To add some extra oomph, I decided to go with a splash of color by way of these hot pink shoes. They make any outfit pop!
